Kiska is a dog in the process of being re-introduced as an adoptable dog. She’s a six year old Great Pyrenees. Her history consists of a family that couldn’t handle her, who in turn (and probably rightfully so) gave her up to a rescue. Kiska does not thrive in a kennel environment. Her handlers say it causes her anxiety and she becomes aggressive. She spent a short afternoon on our farm, and we never saw an inkling of aggression, anxiety, or upset; On the contrary, she seemed very relaxed.
Which is nice, especially considering her size.
Here she is. She looks so sad and kind.
